Pics from the opening at Seoul Musuem of Arts

Soyeon Park's performance view next our space.
After the opening dinner we came back to Hongdae, drinking funshots at the street truck bar across from the Loft bar.
After the opening, we all went to for a dinner with staff from Musueum and all artists.
Our lovely sound girl, Jinjoo is working hard during the opening!!
Our new discovery of Erlend's hobby, scratching his beard constantly!!

We put about 30 posters out during the opening to give them away. they are all gone!! Erlend and i decided to let audience to interact More during the show. we left a note both Korean and English on the other table saying
"Please have a look at these flyers for other exhibitions and events taking
place in Seoul over the next few weeks. Consider paying them a visit.

If you are putting on an event or an exhibition that you would like to
inform us about, please feel free to leave the details here."
This a lovely note is from Eunhee (often called mischell) who left it for us via Suzzan before she fly off to the US. it is Now part of our show on the corner of the space right next to unpacked works from yeonheedong... im sure Erlend will tell you more about it with his future curatorial plan!!

Setting up the blog!!
Eunji's holy nation's gymnastic video is on!!
This Nick Spratt who we met at AFI Seok-su Market project we went along to see the opening the other day in Anyang. apparently he is from Newzeland. and he knew many people i met in Melburne during the residency at gertrude. what a small world!!
During the opening Musuem crew came to see our show guided by curator. and Jinyoung (collector lady) is busy folding one of our poster to take it away!!
Jinyoung is trying to leave a comment on the blog with Erlend!!

Jina, Jonny and Erlend!!

During the opening reception ceremony all artists had to bow the the visitors very properly!!
Caspar Stracke, participating artist from Germany, his bowing looks more official than mine!!
So official ceremony!! an artist's giving a speech!!

The collage collaged!!

Our publications (with catalogues i borrowed from Seoul Museum of Arts Library during Yeonheedong project last month) on the table!! NOW its perfect relational art cos its much easier for us to return them after the show in September.

And I'm SO curious who is standing next to you, Erlend, in the shot in the end...?

That is Caspar Stracke, a German artist participating in the show. He's been living in Seoul for the last year, working at this art school a bit south of Seoul. He has a very good video piece in the show, will try to write some more about it later.
