유클리드의 산책전 관객분과 미술관 스탭님들께!!

먼저 지난 6월에서 7월 사이에 서울 서대문구 연희동 195번지에서 다수의 국내작가와 4명의 노르웨이, 스웨덴 작가/큐레이터와 함께 진행된 연희동195 레지던시 프로젝트 블로그에 들러 주셔서 감사합니다.

현재 서울시립미술관 유클리드 산책전(Where Euclid Walked) 전에서는 프로젝트의 결과물 위주로 소개되고 있습니다. 참여한 작가들의 전시관련 자료/도록등을 왼쪽에 있는 작업대에서 소개하고 있고, 오른쪽 테이블에서는 지금 현재 서울에서 열리는 전시정보를 제공하고자합니다.

Old houses in Insadong!!



Mr Sudoku, Steve, Junho and myself visited Young-ho Yoo' s gallery (art & new product, multishop and cafe-ish gallery) in the middle of Insadong, just opend on 11th of july when you guys had to fly off to Europe (remember?!)sadly we never made his opening tho!! so here are some photos taken from gallery Sang 157 and The Bus gallery the other week!! tell you what Yongho was a resident artist from Changdong Art Studio ( where Jan and i had met back in 2004. also he was early member of our Yeonheedong project too). Mr Sudoko didnt really meet Young-ho but Steve did it. Young-ho took us out for an adventureous, ammonia marinated fish with grisly bones in ammonia salt. its was quite nice though (accoring to Steve) in a little kimchi (marinated cabbage) sandwich with steamed pork and tiny salted shrimps. im sure Steve loved it but Not really me tho. (Some pics are taken by Steve again!!)

Erlend and i went see the show of Hyena kim at Loop gallery in Hongdae last sunday.

And we went to see the show at IAS... found Jinjoo is working at the reception.
At the royal palace called Geyongbokgung, the man palace of the Joseon Dynasty just right next Sagandong area where many commercial galleries are located. we missed the show at Kukje gallery so we stopped at the palace for while before we heading back to Hongdae...

are located in the Changdeokgung Palace, was built during the Joseon Dynasty btwn 1395-1920 in Seoul. it is also is next to Insa Art Space you might remember on the way to round table talk?! ...i just love to share the photos with all of you. (pics are taken by Steve)
